Northern Lights

Hi John
I saw the great shot of the Northern Lights in the journal and showed my 16teen year old little girl and now she's on a mission. we are going to up all next week with friends and our camp in bootjack and they want to see them in person. I know its hit or miss on conditions every night for the northern lights, so my question is are there any webcams or sights you know of we can check conditions. because of being on bootjack rd were blocked from seeing past the spine and I don't want a truck load of teen age girls driving then Keweenaw every night to find out there clouds or just not right conditions for great viewing.

PS thanks for sharing the great house build on the woods cam & journal I'm sure it's very exciting & exhausting at the same time. Great job looks assume!!

There are a few sites that forecast the Aurora. Here is one from the University of Alaska: http://www.gi.alaska.edu/AuroraForecast

Then you will just have to listen in to my forecast on the radio to see any expectant clouds.
