First, congrats to the good folks of central MN, northern WI and the far southern UP that have been shellacked with snow overnight! Should make for a fantastic weekend of riding!

Secondly, I received the reimbursement check from the Ride-In Registration the other day and was able to come up with this years final tally:

$ 12,547 A new record high!

My sincerest thanks to all that made this come true! Already looking forward to next year.

The last trip for us for the year looks AMAZING!

We're heading up on Friday at about 2pm. It takes us about 7.5 hours to get to the cabin. We should make it to the big bridge by around 7.

John; Do you think that the Friday storm is going to impact our travel? I just wondered if you had an idea of when you may expect the snow to fall in Northern Lower MI and the Central UP.

Thanks!

Just keep checking the forecast maps and text. The Friday-Saturday event is still evolving.

Well Hayward got pounded good, moved a good 12-14" this morning and there was 2" more on the driveway when I left an hour later and it hasn't let up yet.

Thanks, I sure will. Hoping for snow, but also hoping for a decent drive to get to it! It's not too bad if it happens during the daylight hours, it's after dark that it gets a little sketchy.

Can't wait to go play!!

WOW That's GREAT news!!! John Dee you and your family (Nora, Gracie and all of us) ROCK!! Can't wait for next year!!

I hate to hi-jack but hopefully in misc. I can sneak this in. I am having trouble finding information the exact details of friday into saturday. I am planned to come up and ride the atlanta/lewiston area but there is rain in the forecast from "the other sites" from anywhere to a tenth of an inch to a half inch.

What would you recommend with the rain. Will there be enough to ruin the riding for this saturday? The maps/forecasts are really all over and I am just trying to get something together.

Thanks very much for the updates and any more info would be greatly appreciative.

Lastly congrats on your event reimbursement!

Wow, that's great news! The vintage sled should really add to the total for next year too. :)
