John,
I apologize for this not being weather related, but I figured you might know the answer. I notice on the new Keweenaw Snowmobile Trail Map that near Mohawk, the trail appears to head off of the old RR grade and onto Cliff Drive for a short distance. If so, I understand the residential area they might be trying to avoid. Am I reading the map correctly? Thanks John....and I'm sure enjoying the PICS of Gracie growing up!

At the time of the printing of the map, that little jog was where the trail was going to go, but that reroute was changed to a different reroute that runs from the ball field in Ahmeek Location, along the old railroad grade that runs parallel to the highway and then hooks back up with where the trail crosses 41 just south of Mohawk.

All in all, it is probably a mile of different trail used when compared to previous seasons.
