Is it Nov. or Dec. when John starts the winter forecasts? which ever one it is, it cant get here soon enough!THINK SNOW!

I see the Almanac is calling for a cold dry winter. They were also called for a cool and damp beginning to Sept. We've been far from that.
The northern 2/3rds of Wis. and the U.P. have had a long dry streak, starting back this spring. We are due for a run of moisture soon. How about starting around the middle of Nov. thru the middle of March?

actually the western up has not been in a dry streak June July august totals actually above average precip in that that time frame i no in June it was right on average July slightly below and august was very wet many places go t 5-7 inches of rainfall some even more. which is about 2-3 inches above normal for the western up.
