Now I've got the itch!

I spent the day cutting down and cutting up a big Hickory tree (30" on the stump) yesterday. It was damaged in some wind 10 days ago. I just started to use Klotz oil in my small engines like the weed eater, leaf blower and chain saw. If spending about 6 hours in the sweet aroma of Klotz oil doesn't give someone the itch for winter, I'm not sure what will. It sure adds a little pleasure to cutting wood.:)

My wife complains that I don't weed whack along the fence every time I mow. So she bought an electric one in hopes that I'll do it more often. Ha, the only reason I do it once in a while is to smell the 2 stroke exhaust.;)
Enjoy it while you can, 2 stroke equipment is getting harder to get. At work (landscape company) the jet packs, chainsaws and weed whackers are 4 strokes now.:(

When all those two strokers are gone, maybe Klotz will re-package their 2-stroke oil in fancy $35.00 crystal bottles and sell it as perfume ("Eau de Sneau"?), for $150.00 per ounce! :D

What are you doing with the tree? I'd like to find a nice Hickory trunk to make some boards out of.

And yes, I'm sure that two-stroke-smoke got the blood flowing.....

The wood that I can handle is already on the pile, the main trunk I'm not sure what to do with it. It is 34-37" at the base, about 32" at it's narrowest and about 12-14' long. That is alot of work with the chainsaw. I guess I could be open to offers.
