NW Vilas Update 3/23

I rode Tuesday and posted some sweet pictures of trails back in the forest, those trails are still there and beautiful. The attached pics are taken in town of Manitowish Waters this morning at 10am. It's currently 32 and bright sunshine at 12 noon, sunny high of 35 today and 42 with full sun on Friday so trails and roads in the sun will be taking major hits. You can still get gas at Dietzs in MW, parking lot is bare but getting there on ice covered trail is good, You can also ride right up to Anglers bar/resturant on snow covered trail (I think they close Sunday). Anyway, if you are coming this weekend, you prbably know what to expect, Everything good and bad!

Still have a couple grand for grooming in Watersmeet so planning on sending groomers out one more day (today) as temps will warrant it then probably shut it down for the year but a bet trails will last for a while in the shade covered areas. Didn’t take any pictures but they looked good in town and also down on Lando along hwy B

Jim you did a great job this year with some tuff conditions. Keep up the good work
