John,
I see you're naming the storms. Do you have information or links to information about a storm that walloped the Western U.P. in early October (10, 11, 12th) of 2006? My wife and I were staying near Ontonagon, and after a couple of nice days, the weather turned nasty on Wednesday, and it was brutal for three straight days. On Thursday or Friday we awoke to a few inches of snow, but the higher elevations received nearly a foot. I think we had sustained winds of over 30 MPH for three days, and gusts were much higher. We stayed on the beach, and the beach nearly disapeared.
Thank you.
