Off Trail Around Land O Lakes

Can anyone help with info or maps for catching some boon docking / off trail in Land O Lakes area or near that area?

Two experienced riders with long tracks looking for some non trail riding.

ER DNR sells maps but you can only ride unplowed Frs in Vilas no way to tell just need to ride them Uturn if plowed. Maps also show UPMI. New law only supposed to ride on marked trails in WI just so you know not so in UPMI.
