Oil Injection Removal

I thought this was a relatively popular modification but I haven't been able to find ANYTHING on this on the web worth a damn.

Has anyone ever done this to their polairs domestic twin? What's the procedure? Were you happy with the results.

I'm looking to simplify the stuff going into my sled as I do my engine swap. The oil pump, lines and container are all crap I could live without...

I have not done this to a sled before but do have both of my modded j-ski's blocked off. There should be a cover plate available that will cover up the cross shaft opening in the crankcase. Try Polaris racing for this ( if it's a 600 ). You may have to fabricate your own, a simple 1/8 " thick piece of aluminum will work. It will need 2 holes drilled in it. You could use the gasket as a template. Each carb should have a brass oil line fitting in the bore area that would need to be plugged or removed & plugged. Same with the case. I can't be more specific than that but that should get you going. You might want to mix the ratio a little heavier than 50:1 also. At least for starters..... I run 40:1 in my ski's. Premixing is a pain in the butt ( IMO ). Some other members might have some helpful advise.
