Got a 2011 shift cfi 600. In the UP right now. Was comin back to hotel and noticed oil light was flickering. Got back and found bout a 1/4 of a gal of oil left. Was full when we left. Rode bout 120 miles. Topped off with bout 6 gal of fuel on way back. Just curious if these sleds use that much oil or is there an issue? Thanks!!

Usually set to use a lot for the break-in period. Should be able to turn it down some after a few hundred miles. Check with your dealer about the proper setting. If it is set correctly, make sure the cable is routed properly so as not to hold the pump arm up at low throttle settings or idle. It should bottom out on the stop at idle. Real hard to see though.
