Ok, need some help with a trailer cover.

I was thinking about getting one of those soft trailer covers for my two place. I thought they were a supporter of the site but I can't find any information on them.

Can someone help me out?

Thanks in advance!

850 dam! A friend of mine just added a cover to his trailer for $1000 last year by Sled Shed Trailers and that's all aluminum. He told them what trail he had and the guy built it in a few weeks. They did a nice job also!

I know 1000 is more than 850 but no maintenance on all aluminum either. Just keep is washed and your good to go! Plus I would think after a few years outside the canvas would state fading and eventuality get some cracks and holes.

tealracing16: I liked my canvas SnoCap. It was unbelievable light on my 10' trailer and pulled well because it was very aerodynamic. I sold it this fall because I got a good deal on a 3 place Floe Protektor. If you want to put gear in the trailer, I would recommend lining the inside walls of the trailer with 1/4" plywood about 2' up from the floor. This would prevent the gear from pushing on the canvas or rubbing on it as you're bouncing down the road. I stored my trailer inside, so the canvas didn't fade, but I think even if you kept it outside it might turn gray but would hold up. Just don't park it under trees where a branch could go through it.

I sold my oversize (62" inside) SnoCap on a 3-place trailer last year. I could put the dirt bikes and ATV's in the trailer also. Worked great but I like my enclosed 4 place better of course.

I stored mine indoors and it stayed like new when cared for properly. You just need to go to the manual car wash and spray the canvas down like you would your car. Use the wax mode to finish and makes the next cleaning go very quickly. The other key is to keep the zippers lubed with silicone spray to displace water and keep from freezing up. Very light weight and made towing easy for a mid-size SUV.

My brother-in-law has had one on his 2-place for over 10 years and a friend of mine has had one for 8 years and both are stored outside and still look and function fine but have some fading.
