Yeah, I checked it out when they first aired the story. Most of this stuff has been sitting outside for 20-30-40 years! If you are looking for a hard to find part or two, you might find it there, but it probably won't be in very good shape anymore.

There's actually some pretty sought after vehicles listed - not to mention some pretty strange vehicles. A lot of them are rough but some look like they have potential and I'm betting that people have restored worse.

The snowmobiles look tough. I didn't see much restoration material but I see that there is an Enticer on the list.

It will be interesting to see how the bids jump in a week. Right now there is some stuff that would be a steal at the current bids.

Unfortunately, the auction company has no idea how to find a VIN#. I would say about 1/3 of them are incorrect so no real way to know what you are buying. Too bad too. My father in law is looking for a project.

They are having an inspection cpl days before Auction, I am going if anyone like to take a look at some thing i can....

I thought it was kind of funny that so many vehicles had no VIN. I could see having no title but no VIN? I can't believe the yard removed the plates (unless it was some kind of requirement).

I'm a little suspicious because some of the lots are listed as "year unknown" and the year of the vehicle is very evident by looking at the photo.

I have to admit that I'm a little curious about one of the 65 Impala SS convertible listings. It doesn't really look that bad and if one were going to do a frame off restoration, it might be worthwhile - very hard to find vehicle in the midwest. Also the Javelin SST looked interesting.

this place is right in the middle of our neighborhood Bill got a little grumpy last 30 years the city was all over him so he stoped selling or buying I have been looking thru the fence since i was a little kid

Would have been nice to get a hold of some of that stuff 30 years ago, it might stand a chance then. Hopefully someone finds something they can use.

Well thanks for tellin' everybody..!!!! Bill was a grumpy old bastard that knew what he had and didn't want to sell it. Go figure??? All I ever wanted to buy was the old blue whalemobile, but he would rather let it rot. I can only figure that people who needed a VIN took them. Now that everyone knows the prices should be driven up!!!

What were the names of the guys that use to run the other junkyard in the area (I think it was SPP Auto Wrecking). I remember a tall guy named Dave that worked there but I can't remember the guys that owned it. I know they had all kinds of run-ins with the city - major characters, maybe even a little nuts but I did a lot of business with them. Rumor had it that one of them even slept in the office.

HAHAHA Davie is still there and I think he still sleeps in the office and yes they are some characters there...lol you wont beat their prices tho best deal hands down on new parts!!!!
