Old Evinrude

Found this old outboard boat motor in a garage of a remodel job. So took a stab at restoring it.

This is how it turned out

I believe it’s a 1949 Evinrude Sportsman
1.5 hp
Not sure if it runs or not, might/ might not. I just wanted it for a decoration piece up at the lake on the tiki hut I’m gonna build lakeside someday! lol

Thanks, it was kinda of a therapeutic type thing, just took my sweet time!
Working on a smaller epoxy table now. First attempt at this too! Lol !

I heard those old evinrudes make great whirlpool motors to circulate the water around, just watch where you put your feet
