Good thing he didn't need to do much. That D is impressive!! He got over 4 million in bonus money for the W so good for him. Retirement time!!

Happy ending for Manning a great QB back in his prime! Yes Peyton will retire just needs some time to unwind. I doubt the Broncos want to move forward with him unless open competition at QB. Peyton won't do that just like Brett said the same thing to Packers. Brett had more good years left in the tank Peyton would be a #2 at 39.

My eyes are still stinging from watching that game,
how much you think Peyton got paid by Bud to say that.

I firmly believe Panthers will be back in SB better than ever. Denver will be a top tier team but have some rebuilding to do. If Peyton stays on as #2 then Denver in good shape to make another run..

no chance peyton continues career as a backup. to continue playing it would be with another team. i think hes nutz to continue playing, be a champion the rest of your life and enjoy your huge bank account.

I didn't hear him do the Omaha thing at all in the first half....maybe I missed it? In the 2nd half he started saying it more.

Just glad that Newton got his azz handed to him. Little baby didn't want to jump into the pile after his fumble. he's going to get a lot of grief on that for a long time.

Agree crazy to play for another team but #2 for Denver might work allow him to phase out help Denver transition QBs. The cap, egos a lot comes into consideration. I think Peyton would phase out at 2 he luvs to be involved in the game but Denver would have to ask & #2 be understood.

Yup I've been saying it all year,
he showed his true colors today on that fumble and walking out of the interview after the game.
cam is all about cam. ya gotta take the good with the bad cam.

he's still a **** of a player.

couple of arm chair observations:

cam's WR's didn't help him out any.
how was Cotcherys "drop" in the first quarter not overturned too a catch? he bobbled it and the ball never touched the ground. that's a catch. was a huge play when 2 plays later broncos strip sack cam and score. panthers go from 1st down at mid field to being down 10-zip.

riveria and shula didn't give cam much help.
Every play was a hand off or read option to stewart that was met with 7 broncos line man or was a 5 step drop by cam where he needed 5 seconds to find a WR. they weren't getting that amount of time. they should of had cam rolling out more with the option to run or pass to get away from the heat. the dudes too explosive to just sit in the pocket all night. there just didn't seem to be any creativity or adjustments made by the coaching staff like I'd seen all year.

You aren't trying to say the game was rigged were you?? Vegas style?? lol.... I thought the same thing. Peyton didn't need to do much the way cam's offense pissed down their leg each time they got the ball...

Its a lot easier to get sacks when you have the DB's that Denver has. The DB's really overwhelmed a less than stellar Panther receiving core. Von Miller is just unreal, interested to see his next contract! Newton not jumping on the fumble really needs to be answered. Odds in vegas for a 2 point conversation was 300-1, i missed out on that :( Good game, defensively, at least. Its really hard for teams to repeat but Panthers definitely have a shot, need to pick up some quality receivers.

Most of SC offense is to pass down field & Cam has the cannon for it that ball comes out on a line and if hits receiver on dead run look out going to be 6 No quick plays called to dink & dunk like Pack does to get heat off Rogers. Denver blew Pack out but O concepts better for the firece Denver rush to protect QB. Not sure why Cam did not dive in for fumble but come on he took a severe beating from Denver D on just about every play. I mean they killed him & refs let them play which I like during SB.

Being the same age as Peyton, I can't imagine trying to play with kids 1/2 my age lol! I've watched Peyton play in his glory days here In Indianapolis. A true class act, a hero, a legend forever will be etched in stone for hundreds of years. Just as Babe Ruth did in Baseball. What a great game and Cinderella story for him personally. You can't write a book this good!
