Got out for another ride on the north shore after last weeks snowstorm. And it may be sacrilege on this site but I really hope it’s the last one. Rode 90+ miles, mostly forest roads but some trails. Snow was good near Finland and along an area about 15 miles inland from Lake Superior. We got a little too far inland and ran out of snow. My 2021 SKS 850 rolled over 5000 miles today, not to bad considering it’s less than 1000 the last two years. Outside of replacing a jack shaft bearing I’ve done nothing to that sled outside of normal maintenace.
Still running original plugs, original slides, original belt, etc. this summer it’ll get some love and more extensive maintenance done.
