Yesterday I put 150 miles on...There is more snow north of Hwy 70 (as usual) and it definately showed in the trail conditions....the 17 trail (Railroad grade) was excellent Sunday morning from North Of Lac du Flambeau to about 3 miles out of Woodruff..trails get snirty, and gravely in and around Woodruff, Minocqua, and Lake Tom.
The Bearskin was fair to poor for the first 3 miles out of Minocqua...it starts to improve around Blue Lake road, when heading south....its fair to good all the way to hazelhurst pub, and is good from south of hazelhurst all the way to highway K....from hwy K on the Hiwatha ( heading south towards tomahawk)...it gets snirty and was in fair condition....it's fair to poor in and around lake nokomis due to heavy traffic.
Lake nokomis as of this writing has not been fully marked.
Overall not too bad out there on Sunday....and we do have snow in the forecast for late tomorrow into wednesday...which will definately help the trails (as long as we get it)

Lake Kawaga is safe to cross as many sleds crossed today. Lake Katherine seems to be closed, did not see any markers on it.

UPDATE NOON...add another 1 1/2 to 2 inches....anywhere from 5 to 7 inches across the northwoods, with even more in the snow belts
