Ontanogon Groomer

Was riding Saturday from Rockland to Onto. and the trail started to get rough, I wondered what was going on cuz usually well taken care of trail, when we got close to Onto. the groomer slid off a bridge into the ditch, was wondering what happened? How do they get it out? Felt bad for the driver cuz it probably scared the heck out of him, probably donating his time on a Friday night , I assume? Good luck !

Ontanogon? Nope: Ontonagon.

Ontanogon? Nope: Ontonagon.
(Or maybe "On-da-noggin?)
(I know, picky, picky.)

I generally find that people that always point out people's mistakes are trying to hide their own insecurities.

I understand your frustration but try not to look deeo into this, it's just a spelling correction. If we set aside our feelings we find out we learn somethings. I honestly don't think Frank corrects us to try an make us look stupid but rather to simply help.

Yep, I went by today and it's gone, but you can see where it was, a bit of a mess right there.

Nice meeting you at Henry's harski!

You bet mspease, nice meeting you too! Hey, not sure what direction you left afterwards but I noticed the groomer coming up from the south so, were you fortunate to hit that trail? That was some fun riding in those conditions! Hoping to head back up soon!

We did head down 13 and it was pretty good! We had very good trails 90% of the time. Great trip! I go back on the 28th of this month.

Over our 3 1/2 days of riding, we only had 2 sections of rough trail. The Twin Lakes side of the 13 loop and from Rockland south on 13 to where Bergland grooms. I think I heard they had a groomer down up there, but 13 south from Rockland has been very inconsistent for us the past several years.

We rode the same areas too in addition to Freda and LOC and found the same great conditions! I wanted to do the southern loop out of Mass but ran out of riders.....and then time! Drove home Wednesday AM in the snow and let me tell you, that was just about the same amount of fun following the locals down the 2 laners! NOT!

Looking to get back up next weekend for a long weekend with my wife but the weather looks to be putting a damper on the plans. Hopefully the front will push a bit further south. Anyway, have a good trip on the 28th and maybe we'll cross paths again!
