I just got back from northern Ontario where the water levels are the lowest they have been in decades. One week produced NO rain...none. The locals all say that they had no snow all winter, and that the snowmobile trails were closed...lack of snow...not groomed even once, and I think that they said they had a total of 28 inches of snow all winter long....I don't recall hearing about this drought last winter.
That place is a fire ready to happen.
Fishing was fabulous, with one right after another type of fishing with artificial baits every single day...it was crazy good.
The good news is that it was so hot (92-94 degrees) that the biting bugs could not cope with it and you could go anywhere and not use spray. Water temps normally in the low to mid 50's this time of year were mid to upper 70's and you could go swimming in the coldest (normally) waters.
Bet this has something to do with BP....I just know it!!
