First picture and animal in the foreground, is pregnant...calf to drop within a week or so. Coat shedding is completely dependent upon amount of daylight and outside temps....

Your Dog is the same way!

Maybe she just eating good and sway back from old age! what does she do with last yrs calf?run it off? maybe calf be a mid-wife!! lol. bears eat most the calfs! Your probably right as the first rut is in sept and calfs born in may.fasinating animals that I like to hunt!!

We didn't take any pictures but saw 3 of them last weekend near Finland, MN. They are looking awful shaggy right now.
