OTG Goggles

Can anyone recommend a good pair of "Over the Glasses" type goggles? I have researched and found that the Oakley L Frames and Scott OTG Helis might be good choices. Add info about whether or not darker lenses are available. Just bought a sno cross type helmet, but can't wear contacts so I want to get the best pair I can to minimize the fogging. Has anyone tried the goggles with the micro fan in them?

I'm not a eyeglass wearer, but look into Smith. I have 2 pair (intake and Piston) and really like them. I read mixed reviews on Oakley and Scott for snow. You don't here much about Smith, but when u do its usually good.

BTW.. check out rockmountainatv.com under clearance goggles :)

I have been using the Scott OTG's (Voltage X) for the past couple of seasons, even though I wear my contacts, they do cover all exposed area's well. I did try them with my glasses & really didn't think they had enough air flow to keep the glasses completely free of fog, which was mostly experienced when riding off trail and working harder. I also learned that they do cut down on your peripheral vision some due to the extra foam. They do have a couple of colored lenses Amp Rose (My Fav) & Blue Amp. I prefer the Amp Rose for the low light conditions which are prominent for 2/3rds of the winter. They do also work well in the sun, but, IMO, the Blue Amp is best for the real bright day's. I picked up a new helmet this spring & a new pair of regular snowcross Scott goggles (Snow Series 89 XI Turbo) for the up-coming season, I am going to keep the OTG's as a back up pair. I will say this, no matter what make or style you choose, make sure you try them on with your helmet to be sure of a proper fit for the helmet opening, otherwise, you will be disappointed.-Mezz

Pro-vue

Pro-vue will make goggles to your prescription, they have several choices and options.
Have been wearing them for years and they work great.

Depending on the size of your frames the 509's will work. I've had many people use them with glasses with great success and you won't find a better goggle on the market.
