Well, it goes without question that the winter so far has been a dud. 2 months ago, if someone would have said this was going to happen. I would have thought they were totally nuts. We have been in a textbook El Nino pattern for the past 2-3 months, even as the La Nina has been strengthening. Beats the whiz out of me why this is happening!
So, with that said, I still believe there is a chance the pattern can change in time to salvage much of the winter, but it has to do so very soon (within the next 2-3) weeks, or this could be an ugly snow season. I wish I could say more, but that is where I stand right now.
