i have to replace bearing on the outer sleeve of my clutch cus of sticking i need to know the specs on re-torqueing the spider and jam nut for my fusion 900 fabricating a tool now to take off and for re torqueing

I can't say I have ever seen a bearing on a clutch. But for tightening the spider use red loc tite and cranke it down tight. Not sure if there is a tourqe spec.

Ok if you never had a primary clutch apart there are some things to know.First mark the top cover ,spider ,movable sheave and stationary sheave with a dot or X.These things need to line back up when you reassemble. If you are making tools then make your clutch holder to fit in a 2" truck receiver. You will need to use a torch to heat up the spider and burn the thread locker so you can remove the spider. You will need a 3' pipe to put on the breaker bar.The torque for the spider is 250 ft.lbs jam nut 235 ft. lbs. Use red loctite to reassemble.Good luck.

i know about the x's and i fabricated the tools to remove and its apart u really think red lock tight not blue incase i have to do again some time and the factory used green which is put on after and penatrates in they say also being that it is alumium to steel center wouldnt blue just work cus there are going to be issues between the 2 metals anyways so im afraid red and that it will be on forever

Blue would be fine.Other company's that make thread lockers use different colors and we all know polaris is trying to save money. If it were me I would use the red loctite.Just alittle bit goes a long way. Red loctite is not permanent you just have to use heat to burn it out.
