Anyone got info for this area? Got buds coming from South wi to ride here. Right on the flowage.

ck out Gateway lodge north end of flowage . Nice cabins, bar, food and off trail 10 . Wayne and Missy very nice.

Rode Hurley to Mercer on Fri. Trail was great at that time, but we only rode the grade.

I agree with jmvette427. Very nice accommodations there with a variety of cabins to chose from. From past experience, bring your own shower towels and don't expect a quick return on your security deposit.

Stay away from Gateway lodge, They are the rudest, unfriendly people in the Northwoods.

But they won't do separate checks in the dining room . Never had a problem with them other than asking for separate checks for our group.

Nites Inn Motel in Mercer in my opinion is the nicest and cleanest place to stay, with very reasonable rates. The folks that run the place are also great people to work with. Very easy access to trails right across the street
