Funny day working with the Ottawa National Forest and the DNR yesterday! The newly designated Pioneer ORV Trail which is Trail 13 snowmobile trail that runs between Bergland and Rockland had lots and lots of snowmobile parts with a heavily concentrated selection around one corner, many a sled did not make it off that trail in one piece...just sayin'

I know this corner very well this year going west is where it is bad. It is a right angle turn. About Jan. forth the leader of group went down the small revine there is a large rock and plenty of trees. He was very lucky did not get hurt and his GTX had no damage. It took us about half hour to get it out. Then about 20 days later we were coming back from Rockland a group of 8 sleds passed us going very fast for condtion. Ten minutes later we came up on them two of their sleds were in the revine with major damage. No one was hurt. This is a very bad corner.

Those slobs that leave their 2 smoke oil containers on the trails isn't good either! We picked 12 of them between Painesdale and Twin Lakes on the Bill Nichols on a wheeler ride. Pack that crap out people!!
