Pat's Motorsports...again!

So I have been thinking about picking up a trail sled for those days when the backcountry isn't premo, or if I'm up there by myself. Price point was important, as was the sled, and I knew I wanted a Yamaha. I kept my eyes on Pat's Motorsports webpage patiently waiting for the right sled and price. The right sled finally appeared! So this past Friday I picked up this 06 Apex, 7900 miles, and in great shape from Kip at Pat's Motorsports. I proceeded to bang off 220 miles on Saturday with it, from 730 a.m. to 145 p.m. no less, with no issues, that motor is soooooo smooooth! Buy where you ride, and buy from the best dealer in the yoop! 20200207_155934.jpg

After your post this morning on the High Rock trail and an earlier post this year about a trail run up to CH, I was going to ask if you've become a trail rider again. This answers that. Should be a good trail sled for what you need. Just don't get her stuck off trail! ;)

my father in law had the same sled, he is the type that takes it to the dealer in the fall for a once over and then the only thing he does all winter is add gas. The only thing that he ever had to replace was one or two boggie bearing. Great sled, just takes a bit to get used to the "engine breaking"/slowing down when you are used to riding a two stroker.

Skylar, Good luck with the sled. I have the same sled ,but it's the Attack. Only have 7000 on it. Last time I was up in the U. P. was the last winter our U.P. mom was still with us. She always told me if you and I met we would get along great. I'm sure she is smiling down on you! Shiny side up,rubber down :)
