I am pouring a slab 14 by 20 for a sunroom attached to our current foundation and was wondering what all is needed to heat the floor. is there a kit? can i get a seperate water heater and create a closed loop for the floor only???
I am far from an expert on heating but with pex installed in the slab you can use a water heater for a "boiler" with the addition of a circulation pump to the system. I would not try to tee off an exsisting water heater though.
In fact I have a friend that is heating his family room and garage with this set-up.
