does all front plastic/headlites/windshield/airbox/oilcooler/gas tank cover really have to come off to get to oil filter? 2007 phazer

everything but the tank and oil cooler must come off to change filter and it helps to have small hands to get at it.

Some people actually opt to drop the whole front end off. The front sub frame is held on with like 6-8 bolts and then the front side of the motor free and clear. Seems scary until you do it once. But otherwise yes, the headlight and airbox have to be removed to reach the oil filter.
