Not exact same spot, but close. We dropped in Lakewood early this morning and made a loop to Dunbar, north to Fence and Long Lake, then back down. 195 miles total in 7 hours of riding with stopping. I would overall rate the trails as a 7.5. Some areas a 10, other much less. One section of logging between Fence and Long lake that was terrible - no snow at all. But was only for 1/4-1/2 mile. Otherwise this area was the best overall. Further east was worse. In town of Goodman - terrible. The grade has some exposed stone, but they are pretty small in comparison to other grades I have rode on. Trails were better than I was expecting. In the early morning, they were icy. Those of us without studs had to take it easy, but flat and most areas fast. Now the bad news. There isn't much snow. I don't think they will hold up to the temperatures forecasted. And it is too bad, because it is a very nice hard base.
