These are from our annual Club Ride that we do every year about this time. We choose the destination on snow conditions and available lodging for our group. This year we were based out of Spooner in Wisconsin's Washburn county.

This first one is what I call the "Grand Daddy of all Snow Plows." Not sure if this is a planned exhibit at their Railroad Museum or if they just needed a place to park this sucker. Anyway, I put the Blizzard next to it to indicate it's size.

The trails took us from Spooner, up to Cable, and then over to Lake Namekagon. This is the Lakewoods Lodge on Namekagon that's a really cool place to visit with lots of history dating back to the early 1900's. Must be a great place to stay in any season.

We logged well over 200 miles on Saturday. The next couple of pics just show some of our club members taking a break along the trail.

One of the last ones is of some of us at just that moment when you notice darkness coming on and the headlights start showing their brilliance.

So, a good trip. A tip of the hat to the Best Western in Spooner. No crashes, no break downs and a good weekend of snowmobiling in Northwest Wisconsin.

Have a good week everyone!

I like riding around Spooner. Some neat things to see and trails are usually decent.
Good pics. Trails must have been pretty good.
