Just back from a weekend in Mercer on our annual Club Ride. Our lodging was at the Great Northern where one of the main north and south trails is right outside your door. Before I forget, a Big Thank You for the groomers of Iron County. Your trails were great throughout our visit. Stops along our ride included Lake Superior, Hurley, Presque Isle, Boulder Junction and probably a couple others that escapes my memory. One stop that sticks in my memory is that of the Crash Sight of the B 47, but I'll save that for another thread, a heck of a story to share. Traffic was light to tolerable depending on the location. We found less traffic in the northwest part of Iron County, more traffic to the east and south. We had 26 machines/members on this trip. That's a good chunk of our membership back here in Neenah, Wisconsin. I have quite a bit of video from our adventures but I'm having some issues uploading to YouTube, still working on that part. But as the unofficial photog of our club, here's a few of what I captured....
A tip of the hat to the guy that pays the freight around here.
Club Pres. Does he look ready?
These two are of the "Bra Tree" which signals you're getting close to Hurley!
And this is our group Saturday night at the Great Northern.
Have a great week everyone!
