Pilot 6.9 simple question

I am pretty sure that the sled I just bought has 6.9's. Has one runner down the middle and it looks as though it is set up for a second runner on the outside but the hole is not drilled in the ski. Any trick to drilling the hole or just eyeball it and go?

Eyeball it with a 3/8 drill bit. I put 6" Shapers in the middle and used the stockers for the outside

That is kind of what I thought. Ive been told the outside runners do very little so I am just pulling the old carbides out and moving them to the outside with new 6" in the center. By the way salmonbum Ill get that track out as soon as I can but probably going to be a week and a half. Ill update the post as sold.

The side carbides help with ski wear for sure. I had a set of PX 301's that the outside edges are beat up
