Pine Stump Junction is back!

For the Eastern UP riders, you will be glad to know that Pine Stump Junction is back open.

I was there a week ago for pizza. New owners, very friendly staff, fantastic pizza and even frosted beer mugs! Totally remodeled and a very good menu. This used to be a favorite trail stop for allot of riders but in recent years it had fallen into disrepair.

There is a whole new attitude now!

Yeper!!! Just got a note from an old bud. He was up there last week said new owners are #1 and the place is looking very good.
" in recent years it had fallen into disrepair." AND the old fart running it was a ***$$%# We will put it back on the stop list.

Glad to see the Stump is under new ownership. The other owners
weren't very friendly and the place was dirty.

Also, I miss the "old" Wolf Inn.

Glad it's done and ready, hated giving the money to Wolfs Inn but it was better then giving it to the old man at PineStump. Can't wait to stop in there this season and check it out.

Thats good news as it was time for a change!I know the old man could be a grump, but he has been having some serious health problems in recent years and his patience was wearing thin.He really went out of his way to help my buddy and I just this february when we were in there.He mentioned a couple wanting to buy it and said upon sale of the place his first stop was the hospital in Marquett for surgery.
