Please help...where is relay on 2001 MXZ600???

Hoping for some guidance...lost all electrical while riding tonight. Sled runs fine, just no electrical. I'm thinking its the relay based on other posts, but I have no idea where its located??? Any other suggestions also appreciated.

On my 03 its on the right footwell under the hood.

The sled is the ZX chassis, manual pull start (no battery). I cant locate any relays. Would it be under the console? My lights flickered on/off a couple times, then went completely black. Sled stayed running and still runs perfectly.
Any help is appreciated greatly!

Pull left side panel and look up under the console. Just changed one last weekend and that is where it was located.

With my limited knowledge and none of this sled, I would say that the basic design of these sleds is to have a 2 piece stator (coils under the flywheel) with one loop serving to work for the electrics (lights, etc) and one to serve for the sled ignition.

So it is possible that one loop went out on you while the ignition side is still working.

Check everything else of course first, but in the absense of the obvious, it could then be the stator.

confirmed problem

Confirmed the problem, its a bad voltage regulator.
