Pneumonia?

Wow, here 'tis, Sunday again, and I'm quite surprised that other than one brief hint in the "Strawberries" thread, there has been no mention all week of John's bout with pneumonia, as reported in his July 5 Journal.

Well I, for one, sure hope to read in this week's journal that all's well in Dee-land this week, with no further health problems!

Hello John,Just wondering when do you shut your boiler down for the spring/summer? How do you heat your hot water in the cabin if the boiler is down?

We actually do not shut it down for the summer. We did last summer, but I found our electricity bill went up considerably when we were heating the hot water with the electric hot water heater.

So now we just keep the boiler going all year long. It does not use much wood in the summer to heat just the domestic hot water and we can also heat the pool with the wood boiler.
