Im about to swap out tracks on my 2011 IQ Switchback. I have a pretty good idea about what Im doing, but thought I read somewhere about using some RTV sealant on the bottom half of the chain case cover when you put it back together to help with dripping. Has anyone done this or heard about doing that?

This shouldn't apply to your 2011 as you should have the MAGNESIUM chain case cover which POLARIS updated to in 2008 or so

This ONLY applies if you have the PLASTIC chain case cover on the 2007 + / - models, so on those models, if you're going to continue using the plastic cover, you'll want to add the steel reinforcing bracket (POLARIS UPDATE) along with silicone/RTV

I would still put a film of RTV around the bottom half of the cover o ring surface, if you get it all together and fill it to find a tiny leak youll wish u did
