Polaris handle bars

I have a 2006 600 switchback with the riderselect steering. I love the system but would like to change out the handle bars. I put some miles on my fathers 2010 600 iq and liked the the feel of the bars. Has anyone changed out the bars on a riderselect set up?

yup...i put RSI bars on mine. I went with the 10 degree bend..much easier on the wrists. You'll have to add a riser block too. I think i went with a 6". Much more comfortable than stock.

I have an 06 Fusion with probably the same handlebars. I was told that the bars had to be narrow because of the rider select system - otherwise it would hit the windshield if it's all the way up. My sled didn't have the handlebar hooks. I added that, and it made a big difference.

i don't have a problem hitting the windshield, but i don't drive with them all the way up. I did cut them to about the same length as a newer dragon ('09 or '10) so I wouldn't have "wings" when I put hooks on. It helps with putting the cover on too.

cables were fine..I think the total rise over stock was only about 2". I'll try to remember to take some pics this weekend.

I was wrong on my riser..it's only 3". The bars do hit the windshield in the #6 and 7 possitions, but I rarely put the bars there anyway.
