Polaris hood

I have an 2003 Polaris 800 SKS....I cracked up the hood a bit this past week up in the UP. Could someone please verify if a hood from an 01 600 XC SP would work? A friend suggested that the Polaris body style for the 03 existed from like 2001 to 2006, hence, any hood from that time frame should work. If someone could verify this for me, it sure would make my search for a red hood a whole lot easier! Thank you for taking the time to read this.....

Go onto Ronnies Mail order. They have factory micro fiche, if its the same hood it should have the same part number.

Same hood 2001- 2003+ EDGE's

The differences are the removable items such as grille and vent grille block off used on 2002 and newer to keep the snow off the ignition coil at top of air-box
