Have you looked at a Pioneer? My father bought one and it's a nice ride, build quality was much better than the Polarises IMO.

The Honda really isn't even competitive. Ranger has a 2,000# tow rating, 12" ground clearance, 44HP, 10" front and rear suspension travel, seating for 3, 10 gallon fuel tank and more. The 570 would pull that Pioneer across the parking lot! Honda has reliability on it's side but is so far behind in today's tech it's crazy! I bet they still use rubber brake lines instead of braided stainless?
If your on the fence find a place to drive them then make up your mind.

Should check them all out. Yamaha Viking is a good choice as well. Excellent passenger and driver comfort. Good ground clearance and unmatched clutches. Very low maintenance side by side. Jointless rear drive shaft. Fully stainless steel exhaust and they have the best operating power steering on the market but you can also get it without power steering as well. Check them out at www.yamaha-motor.com and Yamaha also recently released the all new Wolverine R-Spec side by side, it's pretty sweet!!

Thanks for input guys. Im set on the polaris just debating on 570 or 900. Of course the 900 is gonna have more power and cant go wrong with that. My thought is the 570 price tag is very appealing and I could spend the savings on all the accessories to deck it out. So just wanna know if people that bought 570 are happy with power. Not buying it to drag race so think Im better off with smaller engine and savings.

I have spent time driving both. The 900 has a very smooth and quite motor. It is little quieter then the 570. The 900 will do 62 mph on the highway and the 570 will do around 50. Power on the 570 is around 20-30 HP less, but it has plenty of power off road.

Its nice to get feedback before you make such a big purchase but nothing beats a seat of the pants test drive. I am a Honda guy and own a few quads that have given me many years of good service and was shopping for a SXS already thinking honda but did hit the dealer for a comparo and drove a Honda and the polaris ranger. I left thinking polaris all the way. It was a smoother, quieter ride and spec`d out better all around. For your needs I would bet the 570 is plenty enough power but you may drive one and say no way. I would say make the comparison yourself before plopping down several large!

No to steal the thread, but I'm in the same circumstance. I'm looking at a Polaris as I really like the roominess of it compared to a CanAm. My knees are about a 1/2" away from the grab bar on the CanAm and it's not removable. Anyways, I'm looking for a Ranger to use to haul wood, leaves, and what not. It will get used on the trails also. Is the 570 good enough for hauling a load or struggle a little?

The 570 and the 900 full size Ranger will be about the same in low range, same pulling power, same load capacity. The big difference will be in high range.

When we were shopping for a SxS a couple years ago, the motor of anything less than a 900 was under the seating area. More noise and lots of heat in the summer on your butt. The dealer told me he would sell us a 800 but we wouldn't like it?

Opted out of the Ranger and went with the Razor, as all we do with it is ride. Good luck!

FYI; Powersports in Abrams, WI sells the cheapest 2015 570 Ranger that I could find when I bought recently, $8,347 and no freight or set-up for red or green.

Thanks again to replies. Im about sure will buy 570. The rebate goes thru end of month.

Frank- I have seen Abrams WI deals on craigslist always seemed like best price out there. Was the 8347 price on full size? My best price yet has been 8800.

No, it was on the smaller one with a 9,999 msrp.

They are having an outing there on Saturday from 9-1, food drink test drives etc.

my dad has a 570 LE in the mid size chassis (2 seater) and we love it, with EPS plowing is a dream. he marks and takes out all our club trails with it and the 570 will blow the doors off or 700 efi sportsman. there is a reason they replaced the 800 motor with the 570

I just the 570 a month ago and I love it ,I went with EPS Turbo Silver . I am glad I went with that package for power steering and better tires and wheels plus the drivers seat is adjustable . It is a little louder than I thought it would be . My buddy just bought the Honda Pioneer 700 ,I have found the Ranger a better fit for me in the leg room and seat overall . The honda has no storage and less HP and a less top speed if that is what you want . I went to every dealer and got the best deal from Cozzy's in Marinette

Finally pulled trigger and bought the ranger. Although I started thread about full size 570 ended up buying crew cab mid size. After shopping thought that was best fit for me as my kids get bigger will have plenty of room and seat belts for both. As far as power goes the 570 is impressive for its size. Plenty of power for what I am looking to do. Thanks for the advice to all.
