We at Pat's Yamaha are now servicing all Polaris products. Tom's Service Center has went out of business and we purchased all of their inventory. We also hired their mechanic of 22 yrs. and he is very knowledgeable. We will be servicing all makes and models but we know there are alot of Polaris products in the area and we want to be able to help out those sledders and atvs. If you need parts, service, or just have questions please feel free to give us a call at 906-883-3536. Thanks, Kip

Thanks Kip. Nice to have that available, and really great of you to recognize the loss of a good shop, and fill the gap left over by their closing. Tom's helped me and my buddies many times. Look forward to your great service as well.

Nice addition to your shop. Get used to the name Dan Healy or JD handle Dhealy8. Is it sled or rider? hmmm. LOL

are you gonna be able to do warranty work just like a real certified polaris dealer? not that you would get much work , lol

I'm sorry, we won't be able to do warranty work as we are not a dealer. Polaris does not want a dealer in Ontonagon County unfortunately. I don't think they realize the size of the county and the trail system in this county. I believe it will hurt them in the long run as alot of sledders ride in Ontonagon County and they've had a dealer here for so many years which means they have plenty of product in the area. Time will tell. I hope we can help and meet the needs of the riders coming through. We will do our best. Thanks, Kip

ty for the reply kip, why wouldnt they want a dealer? i understand why tom and dans couldnt make a living but i would think someone like you guys could, having more than one brand would be a lot better. what if we would need warranty work done ? can we save our receipt and take to our dealers when we get home? i will also check with my dealer on this too. i would think polaris would cover parts but maybe not labor. i think some dealers including mine can help with that if they want to.

You're welcome. No, they are not closed but they are no longer a Polaris dealer. I don't think Polaris will let me do any type of warranty work. They will not even sell me the software to inventory my parts that I purchased from Tom's which makes no sense at all. I agree with you but my hands are tied. We will go out of our way to keep every sledder going. Thanks for the support! Kip

They have the same mentality of the big car companies in that they think they have to many dealers. They would rather have 1 big dealer who sells 100 units than 10 that sell 100 total.

Kip who is the Polaris dealer in the area now? I thought the prior Poo area dealers were both gone. You sure took a lot of Poo sleds in trade over the years. Polaris should at least give you a dealership for sleds & ATVs!

We are very happy to have Jeff. He is a excellent mechanic and knows his Polaris Product very well to say the least. He's been around them a very long time so he very good on the older stuff as well. I'll try not to tie him up on Sundays for you but there are no promises!! Yes, I believe Polaris should have a dealer in Ontonagon County but you're right. They want the big dealerships. However, we sell alot of Yamaha's and I'm sure we could do the same for Polaris but it's out of our hands now. They have loyalty to other dealerships right now. Thanks for all the input! Thanks, Kip
