Polaris Sportsman De-celleration question

I have a 2003 600 Sportsman that I recently changed the jets in. It was a factory kit back in 03 because they were cold starters and I followed the instructions to a T (yes it came with instructions from Polaris). Now when I let off the throttle the atv slows down really fast, like I'm on the brake. I've checked the brakes and it rolls just fine so thats not it. I'm thinking clutch spring but I know more about sleds than ATV's.

Anyone got any ideas?

I do believe the 600 Twin came with EBS (engine braking system) and should have quickly slowed when letting off the gas. It should have been this way since new. However if you experienced a slight lean condition the idle may have held high for a bit causing a slight freewheel experience. Adding fuel or richening jetting could allow the engine to return to idle RPM's quicker and allow the EBS to work as designed.
If you feel it is excessive you may want to compare it to another similar machine or take it to a shop and let them look at it!

It would be a crazy coincidence if a spring went at the exact same time that your jetting was changed (not impossible).
