Polaris VES Problem 07' IQ 600 HO

Still having a VES problem with my 07 IQ. I checked the solenoid and it is working properly. the sled however is not. when the sled is not running the solenoid is closed and is not recieving 12v power(obviously). start the sled and at idle the sled is sending power and the solenoid is open. problem is the sled does not cut power to the solenoid after i hit 6800 rpm or whatever the shut off is. I had the sled up on a stand pulled the lead wires going to the solenoid and hooked them up to my multimeter to test. I had her wide open up on the stand and sled never cut power to the wires.

I assume that testing this way would work as the solenoid is on or off and doesn't provide feedback.

after doing some reading it looks like the TPS(throttle position sensor) has some say as to when to close the solenoid as well. is this true? I don't know and i have reason to believe mine may be off with all the times i have taken carbs out to change jets or clean them. i have never adjusted my TPS. looking into that now.

Solenoid delayed exhaust valves are for emissions only.

Disconnect the 1/4" rubber lines at the "T" near the exhaust valves and plug them, you'll notice improved throttle response and performance.

Leave the electrical wires hooked to the solenoid so that the "check engine" light doesn't go on.

I know you can plug them and that is what i will be doing till i figure this out.

With that being said, i would still like to solve the problem.
