Political Correctness Is Officially Out of Control! At the Expense of our Veterans!

Does not surprise me one bit from a society that has let guns be demonized for so many years that now it is not easy to turn it around. Take the education out of the schools and easy to make them believe what you feel...

Control the media, control the message, control the message, control the mass population.

I may or may not have sent an email to Tim regarding this. I think if enough people from around the country send him a note he may understand what it means to people who have had family members sign up and say "Hope to see you real soon and if I don't make it back know that I did this for those who couldn't."

Here's a nice and easy form the school district put together to contact their employees.

It would be interesting to read the school board minutes from that meeting, I couldn't find them on the site. MOST boards act on policy, not wild ideas like that site claims.

The people at that school should be ashamed of themselves for turning away those veterans. But people like that have no shame! You have to feel bad for the vets to come as far as they have and this is what has come of our society to treat them this way. I don't know how some people can sleep at night.

hey, it's the society we live in which has been a declining level of social morality. Maybe 40 years ago we could have countered this sort of BS but it creeps in and most of us don't believe it can happen all the while it just gains momentum and and often goes unnoticed. I know I am going on a rant here but the root of the problem is the progression of liberalism. Tradition is minimized and replaced with emotion (political correctness),,which in my opinion is liberalism. No doubt I am generalizing the ideas here but IMO the fit.

The USofA was a country founded on moral principle, a principle that has been observed and recorded in history as good for it's people. Some people have ideas, ideas that are unproven and unpredictable and there we can sum up our moral decline. We don't hamper social advancement when we follow tradition (proven good) but rather we weed out that which is not good. So since tradition does not provide direction as it once did, we suffer the consequences of progressive liberalism.

I am not at all surprised by this but I am saddened because it's a reminder of how far we have declined as a great people. For me personally, the only solace I receive is when I remind myself of a tradition that is my root. Actually it's much more than a tradition but it's my life's practice, "as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord"

There is more to this story, they interviewed one of the school officials on "Garage Logic" yesterday.

Lenny, you nailed it on the head.....liberalism. It slowly creeps in like an undiagnosed cancer, each generation a little at a time.

You want to see liberalism run wild? Come out to the left coast. Legal marijuana was just approved in Oregon, so instead of 30% of the state adult population being on state aid, I say that number will climb to 50% +. Try to hire qualified people out here, either they fail the drug test or only want part time so they can get still get their state aid.

It was good for me to live out here for a couple of years though, I will appreciate the Midwest that much more when I get back next year. The scenery is unbelievable though, from the Cascades/Sierra Nevada range to the Pacific.

You are correct 440. Just listened to it and they had the school official on the phone who was named in the story. Still po's me off that the media twists something that isn't an issue into something that's going to get people talking.

I myself will be contacting WEAU to complain.....not that it will help but somebody has to!
