The Portage Lake Lift Bridge between Houghton and Hancock is scheduled to be closed for 11.5 hours from 9 p.m. Saturday, March 21, to 8:30 a.m. Sunday, March 22.
Don't get stuck on the wrong side. It will also be closed to snowmobile traffic.
