Article in SnowTech Alger County Road Commission closed the one mile section to Pictured Rocks. They are under heavy pressure via DNR and private businesses to reopen the trail. This is like shutting down trail to LOC huge economic impact on local snomo biz. We shall see!

A "one mile section" ??? give me a break! someone needs to get their head out of their butt that's for sure! I hope they will come to some kind of resolution!

Yeah hopefully they do come up with a good alternative. At this time it's not looking good though.
