I know many of you go to Timberline in Bergland, MI. They are the best in the biz as far as I'm concerned. Marlin lost his wife of many years a week and half ago. Of course Pat was also Marks Mom. They are probably pretty private about these kinds of things but I thought it might be nice to shower them with prayers and blessings from the family here on JohnDee. Let's light up this thread for them!

I sent Marlin a personal e-mail earlier today once I heard about it. We rent from them every year and will continue to as they indeed are some of the best in the business! So sad as they are great people to work with.

Wow, I can't believe it. My wife and I think the world of the Hanson's and Timberline Sports we are really going to miss her.

They are unbeliveable people and I wish Marlin and Mark the best. Very very sad news.

Pat and Marlin are great people.
Have rented sleds from them in the past and have also purchased parts from them. Great people to deal with.
Prayers go out to the family.

Marlin has always made sure we were back on the trail FAST no matter when or what. I bought my new sled from him as well. We will miss Pat, she took care of me when i was a cold wet rookie with lousy gear and frozen feet.
We were there quite a bit this weekend with carnage, and even though we felt the loss of Pat, we were excited to meet Laurie, Marks girlfriend. She was crazy busy keeping the showroom stocked with product, and is a SUPER nice person to talk to. She will be a real gift in the business and keep Marlin on the straight and narrow.
Blessings to Marlin, Mark and Laurie for the upcoming season. Stop in and say hi when you are in Bergland.

I'm very sorry for their loss. I feel obligated to tell this story as a testament to " Pat's " character. We rented from them last year (& this year also I may add). When we returned the sled ( me & the kids ) with our list of busted up components, Pat said " Thank You for telling the truth ". They proceded to give me a discount on the rental, only charged me for the components and not the installation, then even waived a few items that were minor. This was a good " life lesson " for my kids. I followed up with ( Thank You ) for your kindness to both Pat & Marlin ( whom I do not know personally ) and proceded to reinforce to my kids the importance of " Doing the Right Thing ". Pat & Marlin were telling me & the kids all the stories of renter returns where the people tried " pulling the snow over their eyes ". I left their buisness with a feeling of " Honor " and was grateful to do buisness with people of " Honor " !
Deepest Sympathies

Being from the area and remembering when Marlin and Pat first came to our area, I know first hand how special of a woman Pat was.

I know that Pat is looking down on her family and friends right now.

God bless Pat. Sandy and my prayers are with a very special family!

Sorry to hear about Pat. I've rented sleds from Timberline, had friends rent sleds, and bought a sled from Marlin and Pat. Great, honest people.
