Prayers for Jim and others in Wadena

The town of Wadena MN was hit very hard by a tornado yesterday evening. A friend of mine- and the person responsible for the creative design of this website in years past, lives in Wadena with his family.

I have not heard if they are all OK or not, but the pictures from the town are frightening:

I'm sure prayers and well wishes are welcomed for Jim, his family and the residents of Wadena.

Jim was on FB last night...so he was ok enough to post, but it doesn't look good over there at all. Prayers to all!!!

that's good news, I look forward to his update (on his site) when he has time.

I know he's a bussy man these days with his home, restaurant, lake place, work, the girls............

Looks as though it took out a school bus shed and buses in Wadena. Also a lot of other damage with trees and buildings. Two people died in the storms last night - one in Mentor MN and not sure where the other was. It could have been worse - they are having an all-school reunion in Wadena this weekend so there could have been a lot more people in harm's way if it would have happened two days later.

Jim posted a bunch of pictures on his site

It sounds like their house survived with some minor damage (some shingles blown off, a couple windows blown out and some tree damage).

Some of his pictures are crazy

Jim if you see this and have time how is the restaurant?
