Premium Resistor For Polaris Rush

Wondering if anyone is running the premium resistor on the 800 Rush and if so what gains are you seeing. I am a little leary since we have a lot of gas stations in our area that the premium is 91 octane and pump says may contain up to 10% ethanol. If i am understanding correctly the premium resistor can be used only if you are certain that your fuel does not contain any ethanol. I talked to a guy on the trail and he told me that I should change the resistor and I will notice the difference, just wondering if this is true.

Can't have ethonal, and should be 93 or better octane. Not really worth it. Likely you won't even notice the difference. Maybe, but not likely. Just my opinion. They have that same thing on all of the 800's. I have an 09 and I've filled up with 93 non ethonal, and couldn't tell really. I just leave it off and run it.

no difference

I ve run 87 octane 91 octane and 93 ALL with ethonal and some without. I noticed no difference with or without wires pluged in. supossed to be for ethonal and some say its a timing advance . either way No difference to mine

Just leave the wire unplugged, the only difference you will find out is top end then you don't need to worry about it.

I will say my 2009 800 Dragon low top end 97 mph, with wires unplugged, plugged back in very careful what fuel I use top end 110 mph.

There is a big difference with my 800 dragon, but my 2011 800 Rush runs great leaving wires unplugged, so I don't worry about it.

I'm breaking it in this week, I will see from there they say a little timing difference??

The remap was a mess on the 800 Dragon it is perfect know.

I love my 800 Rush, The Rush is faster, but my 800 Dragon I still like better.

I should have it broke in this week 1,000 miles.
Then the dealer will let me what to do to make it faster.
