pro ride rear skid removal

looking into studding the track on my 13 switchback. which bolts do you take out in the back of the rear skid to drop the skid. i dont wanna take more apart than i need. im assuming back the rear spring off and so on but looking for someone that has experience working on these morphadite coil over swing arm set up. looking for a few tips

You dont need to remove the skid when studding that sled. What you do is remove the snow flap heat exchanger and lay it of to the side ( I think I used a bungee cord to hang it up out of the way).Then you can drill right on the top side,just be sure that you dont drill into the rear wheels.

ok, seems so much easier! didnt think of it. in the older rear skids i always took the whole skid out. there is tons of room between the track and tunnel. should i still put tunnel protectors on?

No tunnel protectors needed. I went with 168 woodys gold diggers with double backes down the middle in a 4-2-4-2 pattern. With 4000 miles on my studs they still look new.
