pro x low idle

I have a 03 600 Pro X and when I first start it up cold it wont go to a fast idle. It will go right to one and half and sit there. Then when I start to drive it and I stop it will kind of bobble down to one and when I give it some gas it will bog out and almost seem to stall. What would cause this? Is it getting to much fuel or not enough? I have tried adjusting the rpms a bit but it idles good at that one and a half right off the bat so it must be set right. My dads 03 600 Edge idles at around two and ahalf when it is first started. Shouldnt mine be doing this?

I would think it should idle around 2000 to 2500 when cold. Adjust your idle up a little and go from there. Your engine maybe just loading up abit when idling to low.

Should I adjust it about when it is cold? That was my issue because I wasnt sure if it would ever idle down once I set it up that high while it was cold.
