I don't know of any common issues with these. I had one and had 8400mi when I sold it and I never had any issues other than replacing the bellows in the variable exhaust valves at around 3000mi. It was a very reliable machine.
My buddy had one and I had the XC600SP and they both were great sled. Same motor but I liked the pro x suspension better. I had close to 6000 miles and he had around 4000 miles and we both had zero problems.
